Biography:
Ako was his mother and father's only child. His mother struggled with fertility issues, and they had always wanted a daughter, so when he was born he was everything to them. For the most part he lived a normal, overall happy life until he was 12, privately schooled and with a small circle of friends. However, when his father chose to speak out against the treatment of workers at his construction job and the doings of the higher ups, he ended up dying in a mysterious "accident," leaving Ako and his mother alone.
Try as they did to rebuild their life, Ako's mother began to deteriorate in health over the years. She started to become physically and emotionally violent over the years, as well as unable to function well or keep working her job. At 16, Ako ended up getting a job to support his mother and become her sole caretaker. However, things came to a peak when his mother attacked him with household chemicals in a fit of rage, causing severe chemical burns on his throat and chest. He fled afterwards, and with nowhere to go was miraculously found by an old coworker of his father's.
After learning of his situation, the coworker took him in and gave him a place to stay, as well as medical care for his wounds. Unfortunately the damage done to his throat meant he could no longer talk, but Ako was very optimistic and simply glad to be out of his home despite his own guilt. He eventually learned that his new caretaker was apart of a group of assassins - a team of elites that sought to take out corrupt people in power such as those that organized his father's death.
Ako began to learn how to shoot and use various weapons, and he enjoyed the process of doing so. He was so naturally proficient at it that eventually his caretaker allowed him to meet the people she worked with and to accompany smaller missions. He progressed rapidly and became beloved by the other members as well as his caretaker, and when he was 18 became an official member of the assassin group. He continues to work with them now and thinks of them as family.
